The recent Twenty-Twenty world cup bought waves amoung the audiences and now IPL has provided the paltform for viewers to cheer out loudly. Cricket by itself is a religion in a country like India and with such innovations the craze is only going to increase rather than the other way round.
Other interesting aspect of IPL is the particiaption of film stars & corporate kings in this event. With personalities like Shahrukh Khan, Preity Zinta, Vijay Mallya, Ness Wadia & Ambani's being a part of this Mega-event this is definitely going to be nail bitener.
The amount of publicity it has gained is enormous proportionally the amount of money being fled is also huge. With the bidding concept even the small time cricketers are also benefitted.
